Online Booking

Booking Arrangements

Bookings can be made either online, telephone or email. Advanced booking is essential, especially for stays at weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. For Camping and Touring, Camping Pods and Shepherds Huts we require full payment at time of booking. For Log Cabins, Safari Tents and Robins Nest bookings, we require a 50% deposit payment with balance payable 30 days before arrival.

Before making a booking please read our terms and conditions as payment is taken as acceptance of them. Please note that all funds paid to us are non-refundable.

If you have any special requests, i.e. a specific pitch or to be positioned close to the toilet and shower facilities, please call us on 01403 732539 and we will try our best to meet them. Please note that when you book online you will be automatically allocated to a pitch that is available and is suitable based on the information you have given us.

Once your booking is complete you will receive a confirmation email with booking summary attached. Please read these as they contain important information about your booking. Please also insure that all information is accurate and notify us as soon as possible if anything is incorrect or if any changes are required.

Camping & Caravanning

There are three camping areas at Sumners Ponds; Bluebell Park, Ribbon Park and Sumners Park. There are a total of a total of 87 pitches in these camping area, all of which have electric hook-up available. They are a mixture of grass and hardstanding gravel pitches some of which are positioned on the edge of the lakes and are known as premium pitches, each of which has its own dedicated fishing swim, generally suitable for 2 anglers.

In the summer season we can accommodate tents in our overflow camping field known as The Rally Field located next to The Ribbon Lake, but this area does not have any electrical hook-ups. The Rally Field is bookable online.

Rental Accommodation

Lakeside Log Cabins:Sumners Ponds is home to four lakeside log cabins, each with its own character and charm, enjoying an enviable setting with their own private fishing veranda. These superb log cabins boast fantastic views over the lake and offer a paradise to fishermen and nature lovers alike.

Safari Tents: Our two Safari Tents, Swallow's Hide & Willow’s Hide, are the ultimate in luxury glamping and would tempt even the most reluctant campers. Situated on the bank of the Sumners Lake the outlook and atmosphere are unrivalled.

Robins Nest: Nestled on the bank of Farm Pond sits our unique mini lodge Robin’s Nest. Perfect for anyone looking to relax, unwind and recharge their batteries. It is light and cosy with tasteful furnishing and is fully equipped to a high standard. This mini lodge comes with a kitchenette and living area, cosy double bed, and modern shower room, not to mention your own fishing platform, BBQ, and seating area outside.

Camping Pods: Experience camping in a pod, the best way to camp! The concept is to bring all your own equipment less the tent – so you need to bring your own bedding including mattress or camp bed, cooking equipment and anything else you think you might need for a camping trip. Best of all you will be cosy and warm with no wet tent to pack away at the end of your stay.>

Shepherd's Huts: Sumners Ponds is home to four luxury handcrafted bespoke Shepherd's Huts! Each can accommodate up to two people on a fixed double bed. These quirky and beautiful huts are ideal for a quick stop over or a romantic weekend away and are positioned in some of the most stunning areas the Sumners grounds. Shepherd’s Huts are rented on a B&B basis, so breakfast is included!

Pets & Visitors

Well behaved dogs are welcome to the campsite but should always remain on a lead. Dogs are welcome in all our accommodations excluding Iris and Lily lodges. Your day visitors are also welcome at no extra charge but must vacate the site by 10pm. Visitors' cars should be left in the car park by the entrance as only one car is permitted at each pitch. Commercial vehicles that are sign written must be left in the car park.
